Geriatric Care
Geriatric medicine is its own specialty and one that is sorely needed in today’s society. People over the age of 85 are the fastest growing segment of the population. Dr. Patel is trained in Internal Medicine and has vast experience with the geriatric population. Her approach is to address patient’s needs individually, and have the experience, knowledge, and expertise needed to treat seniors.
Our patient first approach starts with the doctor listening to the patient and the family. Dr. Patel has experience in managing multiple medications, multiple acute and chronic illnesses. The geriatric population has complex medical care needs in addition to having a better ability to manage issues both physically and emotionally. Our goal is to spend the necessary time with each of these patients and make sure a plan is in place to manage their conditions and provide solutions.
In addition to Geriatric services, we provide primary care for adults, women's health, and many more specializations to help our patients.
